COOPRONARANJO R.L is a company that started exactly 49 years ago, in 1968, with a group of 91 small coffee farmers who at that time raised an approximate production of 10 thousand bushels of coffee per harvest season.
This group of coffee growers decided to join their efforts and create a cooperative under the name Cooperativa de Productores de Café y Servicios Múltiples de Naranjo R.L. Since then it has been at service and development of the canton of Naranjo, a coffee community.
Since its creation, COOPRONARANJO R.L. has been the center of economic growth in Naranjo, and it’s so important that currently this cooperative is composed of 2338 associates, mostly small coffee producers (approximately 95%).
